Currently . . . NYC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) controls over 30,000 acres of parks and natural areas throughout the five boroughs. DPR is working with many NYC departments in repairing, expanding and adding parks such as: Steeple Chase Park, Hunter’s Point South, and Battery Park City.
