My favourite TV show as a child By Holly Chapman

Bob the Builder – the original!1!!11!1 Bob the builder is an English kids animation produced by the BBC; the programme first broadcasted on the 12th of April 1999, making the first episode 17 years old. ‘FUN FACT THAT’S NOT ACTUALLY FUN – the first episode is 7 months and 3 days older than me, ‘fun’ times.

We all know the theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dO_PL3V1c4Y

Bob Bob is the main man who is kind and motivational. He owns all of the machines as part of his business.

Wendy Wendy is Bob’s business partner who runs the office and keeps the business in action. She is very kind and cares about the other vehicles.

Scoop Scoop was the first machine that Bob bought and is the leader of the machines. He is described as the ‘anti hero’ and his personality is described as a good leader.

Lofty Lofty is a blue mobile crane. He is described as timid, shy and lacking in confidence. Bob always has to convince him that he can do his job.

The storyline: Bob and his gang worked together to overcome challenges and tasks until they get the job done. On a deep thought, this programme was created to promote communication and cooperation skills which are key learning skills to children and that has a positive influence on them when they’re growing up. Personally I think the character traits reflect on children’s personalities. There’s always one person who can relate to that character and I think that’s a good thing. Altogether these personalities make who we are and that is something that has been thought through and is perceived as a positive note; all of the characters work together to become one, and their different roles and personalities all play apart and it reflects they’re all important as each other. Okay deep thoughts are over now… “BOB AND HIS GANG HAD SO MUCH FUN; WORKING TOGETHER TO GET THE JOB DONE.”

Famous quotes from the show: Bob: Can we fix it? Scoop: Yes we can! Lofty: Um... yeah, I think so.

Primary research: I decided to do primary research to see how many people watched ‘Bob the Builder’. Here are my results: 85 said yes 8 said I still do 3 said no 2 said I went to bob the builder live and got the t shirt – goals 0 put what is It 3 others just spammed
