Tezkatlipoka - Self Reflection In the beginning of this school year I had some questions about smartness. Some of these important question were What is smartness? Who defines smartness? Who does smartness benefit? My research question is What is Smartness? I chose this research question because when I was in 3rd grade I didn't pass the CST and I felt bad and I wanted to see if kids that didn't pass the CST felt the same way as I did.

Quetzalkoatl - Precious Knowledge - Literature Review People of Ancient time thought that the brain was the organ that controlled everything in your body Also a man called Galton believed that smartness came from your family. Scientists tried to prove that certain races were more intelligent than others Binet was the man that created the IQ test he created to see were people’s intelligence were.

Quetzalkoatl - Precious Knowledge - Literature Review Stereotype Treat is a negative comments someone makes about you, when they tell something you don't like several times and you start to believe it Smartness today is measured in the form of student test scores for example the CST is a form of test scores

Huiztlilopochtli - The Will to Act I conducted research on my own by interviewing individuals of different age groups. Some of the questions I asked them were: Why do you think you are smart? What defines smart people? How will you feel if you didn’t pass the CST? Different types of people I interviewed told me their different definitions of smartness based on their differing interests.

Xipe Totek - Transformation These findings are important because little kids like a 2nd grader don’t know what good and bad is. They don’t know that needing help is good not bad because with that you can get smartness . This research has helped me understand that what you think, and what people say to you can help you in your future
