End on Staging Performance Area Audience Definition A staging arrangement in which the audience all sit on one side facing the performance area. Things to consider when using End on Staging. Face the audience Project your voice When appropriate, exaggerate movement Performance Area Audience

Thrust Staging Definition A staging arrangement in which the audience sit on three sides of the stage. Things to consider when using End on staging. Block the performance so that all sides of the audience have a good view. Large scenery can only be placed at the back of the stage. This is a much more intimate performance space. Traverse Staging Audience Performance Area Definition This staging arrangement is where the audience is placed on both sides of the performance space facing each other. Things to consider when using Traverse Turn at appropriate points to ensure all audience members have a good view/experience.
