Harry Potter Trivia Night November, 2010 Step 1: create questions/answers/guidelines—make sure to cover all books and even throw in some movie questions too Step 2: contact local businesses to get door prizes Step 3: make arrangements for food/beverages/location

Rules/Guidelines Absolutely NO CELL PHONES or electronic devices can be used during the contest. If any are found, the team will forfeit their points for that round of questions.   No profanity , bad sportsmanship, or disrespectful behavior will be displayed. Team members displaying this type of behavior will be asked to leave immediately. All students must clean up after themselves. If the library is not left in good condition, we will no longer have these types of events. Trivia questions will be read aloud twice and then again at the end of the round if any repeats are necessary. Students must LISTEN for the question to be read. It will NOT be displayed anywhere.

Rules/Guidelines Teams whose members dress up according to the Harry Potter theme will receive extra points added to their final score.   There will be 5 rounds of 10 questions each. A 6th round will be held in case of a tie breaker. All questions will have the same weight, however half credit and/or bonus points may be given but will be determined by the question grader. There will be no arguing with the grader. Any questions about the answers must be handled in a respectful manner or no points will be awarded. Pizza and drinks will be provided for all participants. Remember, we are here to have fun! Do not exhibit a bad attitude if things are not going your way!!
