Autumn Fare - Scott County MN Free Admission or Parking Fee! Presented by Scott County Agricultural Society We are a group of like minded fiber enthusiasts and yarn producers/artisans banding together to present the Fall Fiber Festival. Our seventh annual festival is on Saturday November 5th from 9am to 4pm in Hopkins, MN. All manner of fiber and fiber products are available to see, feel and buy at this annual event! Alpaca, wool, angora, mohair, silk as well as garments, spinning equipment, soaps, dyes and jewelry. Also wooden handcrafts and ceramics. Get all your holiday shopping done in one day at one place and ALL LOCAL. In addition there will be classes for a very small fee and several free demonstrations throughout the day. Fleece, Fiber and Family The fairgrounds are filled with music, food, artisans and animals. Events include Minnesota’s largest fleece competition, sheep shearing, fleece skirting demos, book-signings and more. Families always enjoy the sheep and goats in the barn and this year there will be a new Farm Work Stock Dog Trial! There’s a lot of room to picnic–weather permitting! Bring your spinning wheel, your friends, and spin the day away. Vendor spaces remain available.
