Journey to Employment

Journey to Employment New DWP Project being rolled out across the UK Aims to support ESA claimants placed on WRAG Helps individuals to identify barriers to employment & develop In-work Support Plans Shift of focus from disability to ability & promote tailored reasonable adjustments. Voluntary (no sanctions to benefits) & Pan-disability KPIs focused on individual measures of wellbeing, social inclusion & levels of confidence

The Job Club 12-week course Referrals to services Identifying barriers | empowering & disempowering beliefs | Self-care Condition Management | Peer Support | Reasonable Adjustments Disclosures | Interviews | Access to Work Referrals to services Can only be made by jobcentre work coaches Provision & course structure likely to vary among providers

Camden Society’s Employment Services On the job training & apprenticeships Social Enterprises: Cafes, Garden Centre, Mailing Business Exclusive Apprenticeships for people with learning disabilities/difficulties iPlan to Work Pre-employment training & support programme funded by Camden Adult Community Learning & the SFA. Individuals must be aged 19+ & have a learning disability iCHOOSE Employment support for individuals who do not live in areas where provision is readily available.
