Perl can be reached at: 786-8000 ext. 1141 mperl@warsaw.k12.ny.us Homework: Your child will occasionally bring home an activity practicing a skill we are working on. I encourage the class to take it home, show their family what we have been working on, and if they complete it and return it they earn a sticker for their chart! The pages will be on the bring back to school side of his/her take home folder. They say Take Home in the upper right corner. Thank you for all of your support! We are off to a great start! You have probably heard your child talking about Daily 5. I want to let you know what Daily 5 is… Daily 5 is what we call our reading block in our room. During this time your child spends time working on some of these 5 tasks: writing, word work, listening to reading (we do this on the computers), read to self, and read to someone, while I am working with reading groups.
