Discuss the impact of laboratory accreditation on improving operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Local regulations Governments may demand that laboratories functioning below the accreditation standard be required to: Submit detailed improvement plans . Take timely action to demonstrate compliance. Continued failure leads to penalties. Service limitations. Prohibitions against further testing.
