Salvador dali surrealism

Surrealism was a 20th-century avant-garde movement in art and literature that sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind, for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images.

Salvador dali: May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989 He was a prominent Spanish Catalan surrealist painter born in Figueres, Spain. Dalí was highly imaginative. He also enjoyed indulging in unusual and grandiose behavior. His eccentric manner and attention-grabbing public actions sometimes drew more attention than his artwork. His strange behavior disappointed his followers who held his work in high esteem and it irritated his critics.
