For example: excessive make up, clothes, shows, accessories, etc. This is not something new, this is known for a very long time but it wasn’t as open as it is right now.

In The Queering of the Swan Lake: a new male gaze of the performance of sexual desire by Kent Drummond. In 2000, this organization convinced their city council to add the protection against discrimination on the basis of gender identity and expression. People that have to act normal to the society when in reality they are different. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp5h_0puRCg

How the society receive this? The society receives this in different ways. People raised in another generation thinks this is not right. Not what they though them. For them is just something bad without having a open mind about the happening changes. For them is a challenge to accept the changes in the way society is developing. Twenty first century generation is more expose and open mind about the situation. In a manner of facts they accept the them just for who they are and not because of what they do.

Why the interest in this theme?
