Enrollment Services Program Review Presentation Paul Moore - Supervisor, Enrollment Services April 21, 2010

Program Description Enrollment Services facilitates admissions and enrollment processes in collaboration with and in support of other units in Student Services and Instruction. Enrollment Services comprises the following departments: ∙ Admissions/Records ∙ Central Files ∙ E-Services ∙ Evaluations ∙ Special Projects Brief Description of your program. Who are you? One Slide, 2 minutes

Program - Strengths ∙ High level of staff interaction and teamwork. ∙ Utilization of available technology to provide better customer service to students. ∙ Versatility of staff knowledge and capabilities (cross-training). ∙ Enrollment Services is consistently at the forefront of technological advancements, as they apply to student records and online enrollment. ∙ Convenient and user-friendly online services.

Program - Challenges ∙ Ongoing review of office practices and continued training of permanent and temporary staff. ∙ Changes to the PeopleSoft system to improve the processing of transcripts, verifications, and unauthorized course repeats. ∙ Reducing the duplication of electronic documents throughout the campus. ∙ A district-wide integration of all document imaging systems. ∙ Unforeseen challenges with the new Degree Audit Program. ∙ E-services’ transition to the new Student Center in 2013.

Planning Implications The Enrollment Services office will continue to collaborate with the district and its counterparts at its sister campuses to implement a district-wide imaging system and to address improvements to the PeopleSoft system. Additional collaboration with other departments will be needed to address the unnecessary duplication of electronic documents.

Thank You
