eVIN answers three fundamental questions 1. Where are my vaccines? 2. Are they adequate in quantity? 3. Are they stored in the recommended temperature range? With the help of eVIN, now we are able to get to know – Real time stock information at all cold chain point. It is helpful to review consumption & ensure availability of vaccines. Real time remote temperature monitoring for all ILRs kept at Dist and all blocks of Kushinagar. Data is visible to MOIC/DIO/AD/SIO and National level officers for necessary actions and monitoring.

eVIN - value addition 17 Govt. Staffs are making avg. of 20 entries after each session using smartphone. Total # of entries done in May 2017 – 7,780 Now we have correct pic of discard, broken and consumption data. Stocks were replenished within 1.75 days to ensure that no sessions were missed. JE vaccines were tracked during campaign to ensure zero stock outs. SMS from central server reg. temp alerts were given to MOIC/VCCH and DIO evin User id for MOIC, DIO and others is functional for analysis. Complaint logged for 05 Temp logger for repair. Awareness of product and its quality will enhance Govt’s mandate towards people. Govt. of India review the data of Stock & temp. and delay in compliance will lead to serious actions.
