TwoSpect Scorpius X-1 mock data challenge, March 2014 Evan Goetz (AEI—Hannover), Grant David Meadors, Keith Riles (University of Michigan) H1 L1 V1 TwoSpect searches doubly-Fourier transformed data to find periodic orbital modulations in a signal from a neutron star in a binary system Sco X-1 pulsar 8 preliminary* results: {H1,L1,V1} zoomed right, V1 5 Hz band below 8401 frequency (1/1720 Hz), 43 modulation depth (1/3340 Hz) templates for 860 s SFTs; df search space scales linearly with f Pulsar 8 preliminary, uncalibrated values at injection site (V1 only): f = 121.891 Hz, df = 19.3 mHz, log10p ~= -16, h0 ~= 1.1e-25 f (120 Hz)----------------------------------------------------->(125 Hz) df (22 mHz) . (10 mHz) * Final detection criteria being refined, detection expected. Majority of all MDC blind & open signal bands processed
