SIO-RTD RTD MODULE

SIO-RTD MODULE Microprocessor-based data-acquisition system. Eight inputs per module. Four individually selectable RTD types (100- Pt, 100- Ni,120- Ni, or 10- Cu). Can accept any 4-20 mA input source. Open/Short RTD detection. DIN-rail mountable. Very compact unit.

SIO-RTD MODULE Solid-state multiplexing. Up to 15 modules per network. Remote operation up to 1.2 km. 24-Vdc power supplied by user. RS-485 communications interface. Modbus communication protocol. Connects to a Modbus bus or through an RS-485 to RS-232 converter to a computer or PLC.

SIO-RTD MODULE SWITCH SELECTION Switches The SIO-RTD has four switches to select its network address. Up to fifteen SIO-RTD modules can be connected to each network. Each module must have a unique address. These switches can be configured anywhere from 0 to 15 for a total of 16 unique addresses. The modules communicate with a RS-485 interface and use the Modbus protocol. A RS-485 to RS-232 converter can be used to connect to a PC…..

SIO-RTD- APPLICATIONS Temperature measurement for monitoring in industrial applications. Other types of sensors could be used with the SIO-RTD such as vibration, pressure, light, acceleration and fluid levels. Any 4-20 mA analog input can be accepted. More applications are possible using this flexible platform. Very flexible in the sense that it can be used anywhere that there is monitoring to be done……where the monitor sensors have a 4-20mA output.
