Outlook -It is not difficult to become a wedding consultant. People do not need experience in event planning to achieve the job. -Average age of first-time bride and groom is continuing to rise, which causes an increase of job growth.

Personal Opinions We had all agreed we had chosen Wedding Consultant because it is a career that would seem nice to try,anything involving something as special as a wedding would be a wonderful work experience. We all thought this is a great way to make money but still really enjoy your job. You would be helping create one of the most memorable days of someone’s life,and receive money in the process. Which is a win win.

Will We Pursue it? Possible Majors Qian: I will not pursue this career because it is not related to my major which is finance. Melyssa: I would not want to pursue this career, I am currently a major in business finance but will switch to business marketing. Sofia: I would possibly pursue this career. I think it seems like a very fun job, only because wedding are such an important and beautiful moment in one’s life, and to be part of creating that special moment for someone is an honor. But I’m leaning towards real estate, I love helping my dad with open houses and I feel very comfortable in that line of work. I did realized that both a Wedding Consultant and a Realtor are similar in that you would help take part of important milestones in people’s lives, and you would receive a similar satisfaction for both, and that is why I would possibly consider being a Wedding Consultant.
