Permission Overrides The purpose of the Permission Assignment pages is to allow staff members to grant students permission to attend certain classes. These overrides are granted: To individual students By employees with appropriate access to do so, For an individual section (a class override) or For any section of a course (a course override) With an expiration date. Once an override is posted, the student can use Self Service to enroll before the override expires. Slide 1 of 7

Permission Overrides NOTE: Depending on your security setup, you may be able to post all overrides, a limited number of overrides or no overrides at all. In addition, your security may limit you to post overrides for only a limited number of classes or courses (i.e. those within your own department and/or college). Slide 3 of 7
