The big storm is coming!

The storm hits hard for 30 hours!

We spend all night securing tents. A long night…

Antennas are twisted & broken. Two auxiliary tents collapse.

Lost the top of a 160 antenna

Time to fix all the antennas

We have to dig out our camp.

The next day: We repaired all antennas and went QRV. Later that day the Braveheart declares an emergency Orders everyone to evacuate the island due to a moving ice floe that could potentially block strait between the islands. We QRT and leave the island for 12 hours.

To avoid ice blockade

We evacuate to Braveheart.

The next day… We return at 6 AM to pack up entire camp
