Creative and Expressive Arts Successful Learners Ooh La La! (An Introduction to France) Year 4 Autumn 2 Areas Of Learning As Scientists, we will be learning about classifying living things and their habitats. As Artists, we will be using a range of techniques and materials to create pictures in the styles of the French painters Seurat, Cezanne and Morisot. As Geographers, we will be learning about the physical features of regions of France, as well as settlements and land use. As Computing Technicians, we will use IT to research and present work. As Linguists, we will be learning French. As Musicians, we will be exploring and composing music that describes the changing environment. As Active Learners, we will be focusing on Games. As PSHE Learners, we will be focusing on ‘Celebrating Difference’. Confident individuals Responsible Citizens Creative and Expressive Arts As creative people, we will be exploring art in the styles of Seurat, Cezanne and Morisot, and music about the environment. Spirituality As spiritual people, we will be exploring symbols and God as the Trinity. Communities As members of a global community, we will be helping to wrap and pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Knowledge of the World As citizens of the world, we will be learning about France, its geography and people.
