Creative Development Under the Sea Term 5 2016 Dressing up and taking on roles from stories 'Under the Sea' Role play areas Mask making Making finger puppets to re-enact the stories Play dough Creating clay model sea creatures Songs and stories Painting sea creature designs on pebbles Cooking bread roll sea creatures Bubble wrap paintings and prints of fish Communication, Language and Literacy Role play area- a pirates' ship and 'under the sea‘ and a beach hut. Dressing up as sea creatures. Make leaflets on caring for sea creatures. Following and creating instructions. Labelling contents of a rock pool. Recording class visits Small world play Descriptions of sea creatures- 'What am I?' Focus books: Commotion in the Ocean, Tiddler, Sally and the Limpet, The Rainbow Fish and Sharing a Shell.
