Social Studies So far in Social Studies I am doing ok. One challenge for me this year was the: Social Studies essay project. I got a B- on it, which is ok, but it was hard to compose. Next time I have a Social Studies essay it will be easier because I learned from that experience some skills that can help me next time. My favorite assignment in Social Studies was also the Social Studies essay, because it was a great learning experience. A lesson I would teach my parents would be how to right a good essay.

Language Arts So far in Language Arts I am doing ok. One challenge for me this year was the: fictional story. I have not gotten a grade on it yet, which is ok, but it was hard to write and think of what to do, and I don’t know what my grade will be. Next time I have a fictional story it will be easier because I learned from that experience some skills that can help me. My favorite assignment in language arts was guys read (a gender based book club), because it was a great learning experience. A lesson I would teach my parents would be how to find good ideas for a fictional story.

Science So far in science I am doing ok. One challenge for me this year was the: chemistry unit. I got a couple different grades for different assignments but they were not all good, which is ok, but it was hard to figure out. Next time I have an engage unit like this it will be easier because I learned from that experience some skills that can help me. My favorite assignment in science was the create a lab (in the chemistry unit), because it was a great learning experience. A lesson I would teach my parents would be how to format a lab.

Math So far in math I am doing ok. One challenge for me this year was the: tests. I got a bad grade on some of them, which is ok, but it was hard to learn some things. Next time I have a test it will be easier because I learned from those experiences some skills that can help me. My favorite assignment in math was the geometry unit, because it was a great learning experience (and not that hard for me). A lesson I would teach my parents would be how to divide negative numbers.
