Hovercraft project

Rules Must have either an electric or gas-operated motor to create lift. ALL materials must be supplied by the group. If you use an electric motor you must provide your own extension cord. It is NOT necessary to have a forward propulsion motor. Teams of no more than 4 members. Working prototype to be graded Friday, March the 18th. Rubric Design (either graph paper with multiple views or electronic) with measurements and scale, and a budget – 25 pts Floating hovercraft – 25 pts Floating hovercraft (holding a pilot) – 25 pts Technical report (History of hovercraft, objective of project, issues with the build, build specifics and outcome, and marketing data.) – 25 pts
