SCHOLARSHIP/COMPONENTS ensures that students master the theoretical perspectives, methodological techniques, and professional practices essential to the production of knowledge within their disciplines.

SCHOLARSHIP/COMPONENTS exposing students to an expanded definition of scholarship (which moves) beyond the traditional emphasis (upon discovery) they can integrate, apply and disseminate knowledge within and across disciplines.

INNOVATION It ensures students recognize the role of creativity, and the entrepreneurial spirit as a catalyst for the advancement of knowledge. learn that professional conduct must be tempered by an ethic of responsibility for their communities (live, work and learn).

COLLABORATION – why collaborate? to respond to issues of local, national and global significance. How do you equip the students? communications and technological skills (within the context of transnational and interdisciplinary networks) why? to serve as sites for the production, application and dissemination of knowledge.

PROFESSIONALISM Graduate studies is a prelude to a lifetime of ongoing professional development.
