Center of Excellence in Advanced & Sustainable Manufacturing Rochester Institute of Technology Center of Excellence Program Sustainable Product Design & Life Cycle Engineering Model-based Engineering Design & Performance Validation Digital Manufacturing and Smart Manufacturing Remanufacturing & Material Reuse We work with NYS companies across ALL manufacturing sectors to: Improve product designs through Design for “X” methods considering the entire life cycle Utilize computer modeling, and rapid prototyping to simulate and validate product performance Combine product/process monitoring with data analytics to unleash product and process improvements, particularly process efficiencies Develop methods and apply new technology to encourage and enable remanufacturing and material reuse
