Survey Objectives

1. Evaluate services & support materials needed by DLI Contacts & Alternates. Identify improvements to products & tools to better serve students and researchers. 1.

Evaluate level of satisfaction of DLI Contacts & Alternates with existing services & performance of the DLI section. Identify improvements &/or new services needed. 2.

Evaluate & measure level of expertise of DLI Contacts & Alternates in areas related to data use. Identify where improvements could be made in DLI training & educational programs. Develop appropriate new training processes. 3.

2017 survey instrument revised by sub-committee* of the Professional Development Committee. Survey written in English & French. 70% Overall Response Rate Low response rate – could be due to time of year survey was sent out (June/July) or length of survey

Response Rate by Region Q46 - Please indicate the DLI region in which your institution is located: Email invitations sent to Quebec schools were in French; all other email invitations were in English. In the survey, respondents were given the option of toggling between French or English for the survey. 13 surveys were completed in French and 62 in English.
