AUX Dock-Walking Walk marinas and marine areas where boaters are present. Educate on marine safety, invasive species, & clean boating practices. Distribute boater kits that include an oil/fuel absorbent pad; whistle; and brochures for Fed/State regulations; reporting procedures; life jacket selection; Clean, Drain, and Dry guidelines, etc.
Initiative Goals Have and wear a proper life jacket. Be prepared and have proper safety equipment. General awareness about all aspects of safety, including situational awareness and the need to practice skills.
