Vocabulary to Know (Flocabulary): Wood’s Weekly Reader September 19th-23rd Please make sure your student is reading at least 15 minutes each night. Reading should be written on reading log. What are we Learning? I can… Reading: -Identify character feelings. -Identify the short o pattern. -Create an alliteration. Writing: Use the writing process to write a personal narrative. (We are still working on handwriting!) Math: Use models and manipulatives to subtract. Social Studies-Locate places on a simple map. Wordy Study Sight Words: Spelling: big ton man son play pot the sock for mom Don’t Forget… *Mother/Daughter Tea Party- September 23rd (5:00-6:30) Vocabulary to Know (Flocabulary): borrow- to take something for a little while and give it back. grab- quickly take fancy- nice and special daily- something that happens every day.
