What is Kevlar? Is an extremely stong man-made fiber. It is strong in low temperatures, but is weakened when heated. It is usually spun into ropes of fabric for composite materials, materials that have two or more different materials with different physical and chemical properties. Made into various objects and things that require strength

What is Kevlar? Kevlar gets its strenght from its weave “Aramid Weave” It has no melting point Tend to be difficult to corrode Resistant to heat

When was Kevlar made? Toward the end of the 1970's Kevlar was created by Stephanie Kowler. Kevlar is a fiber five times stronger than steel. Kevlar is known to many as a bulletproof material.

Uses of Kevlar : Armor Since Kevlar is light and strong it is an ideal choice combat protection. Kevlar is used for protection, examples of protection are armor. Kevlar is a well known component of personal armor, such as combat helmets, ballistic face mask , ballistic vests.

Uses of Kevlar : Personal Protection Kevlar is used to manufacture, gloves, sleeves, jackets and other articles of clothing designed to protect users from cuts, abrasions and heat.
