THE WITNESS JOHN 1:7 WITNESS (NOUN) A person who has observed a certain event or a person who testifies of an event being observed or a person who testifies to the genuineness of a fact by way of testimony or authentification of such fact e.g. in a document.
THE WITNESS JOHN 1:7 1. This word is used 14 times in the book of John, 3 times in the book of Mark, 1 time in the book of Luke and none in the book of Mathew. 2. Witnessing is telling what you had come to know by observation (visible & invisible), hearing (audible & inaudible) or experience. (Acts 4:18-20, Matt. 10:18-20) & (2Kings 5:25-26, 1Kings 18:41).
