WRITING!!!! Rahim khan encourages Amir to write when he was younger He seemed to be more of a father figure to Amir, he helped bring out the good qualities that Amir has He gives Amir a positive attitude

PHONE!!! Rahim Khan was the person who phoned Amir to come to Afghanistan to help Sohrab, yet again he brings out the positive side of Amir’s personality.

SUMMARY OF RAHIM KHAN !!!! Business associate and close friend of Baba Has a close relationship with Amir Also the main reason Amir returns back to the middle east

SECRET KEEPER Rahim Khan knew all the family secrets as Baba and Amir confided in him He knew about Who Hassan’s real father was after Baba slept with his mother , he also knew that ali was impotent He knew about what happened to Hassan and that Amir saw what happened

“QUOTATIONS!!!!!” Rahim in the The Kite Runner says the same thing as he admonishes Baba regarding his relationship with his son Amir: “Children aren’t coloring books! You don’t get to fill them with your favorite colors.” Towards the end of the story and with Baba already dead, he plays a father’s role as he advises Amir to do what needs to be done: “There is a way to be good again.” And this paves the way to Amir’s complete healing in the end.
