School For many of us going back /starting school is seen as a good thing. Meet up with friends, make new friends, learn new subjects, meet new teachers etc. Chance to develop ourselves as thinkers, doers and challengers. For many we take it for granted but for some, school isn’t an option…

No school for these…

Why? Many countries require families to pay for their children’s education. Many cannot afford this due to unemployment, sickness, poor living conditions and homeless. Therefore the children need to find work/food rather than go to school to provide for siblings and parents.

Remember… The next time you complain about having to go to school think about all those who don’t have the choice to go. You are entitled to an education, get it, learn from it, make it work for you and your future.
