Figure 3 Cumulative occurrence rates of active hepatitis at 1, 3, 5, and 7 years were 22%, 49%, 53%, and 60% in the early HBeAg seroconversion group and 29%, 68%, 80%, and 87% in the nonearly HBeAg seroconversion group, respectively.
