What is written on the tablet of your heart? As children become adults, they will keep the instruction of their parents only if the instruction is written on their hearts! Proverbs 3:1-3 Proverbs 6:20-22 Proverbs 7:1-3 Proverbs 23:25-26 God intends for His laws to be written on the hearts of every New Testament Christian. Let us strive to keep our hearts open to God’s laws, to carry them with us through life, and to keep and observe them.

God wants His laws written in our hearts Hebrews 10:16-17 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the LORD: “I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them, then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

In Order for God’s Laws to Be Written in Our Hearts… Our hearts must not be hard (Job 41:24; Romans 2:5; Jeremiah 17:1-2; Psalm 119:36; Hebrews 3:7-13; Deuteronomy 30:14) Our hearts must be “broken” and softened (Acts 2:36-38;Psalm 119:57-58; 34:18; 109:23-24) Our hearts must be in awe of God’s word (Psalm 119:161; 19:8)

When God’s laws are written on our hearts, we will keep them. Psalm 119:11 Psalm 119:111-112 Psalm 119:32

What is written in YOUR heart? Proverbs 27:19, “As in water face reflects face, so a man's heart reveals the man.” Proverbs 4:23, “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
