Typical Symptoms in all ADD Short attention span Regular, routine, everyday tasks Difficult time with boring tasks and needs stimulation Can pay attention to: New Interesting Highly stimulating Frightening Distractibility Notice more in their environment

Typical symptoms continued Disorganization Struggle with organization of time and space Tend to be late and struggle to get tasks done on time Last moment Struggle to keep stuff tidy Procrastination Put tasks off until the last minute Do not get stuff done until deadline Poor internal supervision Issues with judgment and impulse control Struggle to think before speaking Harder time learning from their mistakes
