Samson – the Weak Superhero Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, so the LORD delivered them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years… (Judges 13:1) Then Samson prayed to the LORD, “O Sovereign LORD, remember me. O God, please strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines...” (Judges 16:28)
