Stratus Means sheets or layers Flat, gray clouds that cover the whole sky Are at less than 2,000 meters about Earth’s surface Often produce mist or drizzle Stratus

Cumulous Fluffy and white with a flat bottom Found between 2000 and 6000 meters “fair weather” clouds Can be seen on warm, sunny days Cumulous
