Mrs. Clark eagerly recommends the Tiger Tales novel, Projekt 1065 by Alan Gratz. This captivating and suspenseful historical fiction novel takes place in Berlin, Germany during World War II. Michael O’Shaunessey, the son of an Irish Ambassador and his wife, is a member of the Hitler Youth like the rest of the boys in his school. Michael and his parents are spies for the Allies. The internal and external forces Michael experiences affect the choices he has to make. This book has short action-packed chapters that make the reader feel like they are speed-reading through the book. If you like suspense, you’ll like reading Projekt 1065. Money from sales will be used to purchase items for Junior High aged students.   *“Purchase” a toy with Tiger Tokens and donate in the Depot.   *Participate in a school wide activity with a donation.
