Welcome To The Fitness Room A guide to the cardiovascular (Cardio) equipment @ JGMS

General rules: Safety first! Do not goof off on machines! They are expensive and dangerous if used improperly. Stay on the same machine until you meet the minimum requirement If time runs out restart the machine and we will add your distance onto what you had. Clean off machine with the wipes after use before you go change. Show your teacher your distance BEFORE you shut down the machines! Bring water bottle so that you do not need to leave to get water

Minimums

Treadmills- MIN SPEED 3 MAX 9

Keyes Bikes- 2 upright and 2 recumbent bikes 1.Start pedaling to turn on 2.Press green QUICK START NOT THE AT TEST 3.Pause button-when you leave for drink or bathroom

Other Bikes: THE FIRST 3 TURN ON 1ST - IN FRONT HARDER REQUIREMENT FROM KEYS BIKES BECAUSE THEY GO FASTER/FURTHER

New Ellipticals: Sometimes get off track. Get off and cafefully put them back on track. Reset at the end of your workout. Reset at the beginning in case someone didn’t reset @ end. Two feet must be on the pedals at all times (no one footed stuff)
