Scratch project: Knight and Princess Authors: Jana Vomáčková, Jana Navrátilova (in-service teacher education, Faculty of Education) Winter Semester 2015/16 I. Familiarization with a programming environment (https://scratch.mit.edu/) Download and instalation of off-line editor (https://scratch.mit.edu/scratch2download/) Practiciting fundamental steps and procedures (animation, movement etc.)

Scratch project II. Choice of theme Search and look through completed projects (https://scratch.mit.edu/starter_projects/) Chosen theme A simple game – remix and modification of existing projects. A knight passes through particular levels in which he fights using various weapons and guns against to various enemies with the aim to rescue a princess.

Scratch project III. Modification, updating and editing: Familiarisation with used scripts Design/modification of a key sprite an princess Creation of a set of scenes Drawing/ modification of enemies/ creatures Drawing/ modification of wapons for a fighting in action with enemies and rivals to be able to proceed to a next level of the game. Updating scripts in accordance with sprites and our ideas about animation
