Little Leaders At Glasgow Preschool Academy, we are looking forward to when our littlest Scotties go to Kindergarten. South Green Elementary and Highland Elementary are both Leader in Me schools, so we are beginning to teach our preschoolers about the traits of leadership that they will need in elementary school.   In preschool, this week, we are learning to set priorities. This means we do the most important thing first, then we can do the other things we want to do. We are learning a little song to help remember how to put first things first:  Put First Things First (to the tune of Farmer in the Dell) Put First Things First, What’s most important? Make a plan and follow it, Put First Things First. Wednesday, November 3, the children at GPA have been invited to attend a special performance of The Little Mermaid, performed by The South Green Elementary Drama Club, at GHS auditorium. We will leave GPA at 12:15, and return at 2:00. This performance is free and for students only. If you are interested in seeing the play, please read the information below. Little Mermaid Jr. Tickets are now on sale. Tickets are being sold each morning from 7:00-8:30 a.m.,  and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00-4:30 p.m. at South Green. We are truly excited about our show! Show dates are November 2nd  and 3rd 6 p.m. at GHS auditorium. For more information, call 270-651-3806.
