Nirvana Literal translation: “to extinguish” A Buddhist Sanskrit word describing the end of Illusion. Literal translation: “to extinguish” A self-realization of the unconditioned state. Nirvana is the completion of the path of Buddhism Self-enlightenment, self-awakening and all delusion and anguish are permanently ended even before death.
