CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD Due December 17, 2012

It’s time to deck the halls!!!!

At least it’s time to deck the halls where WE live...

But Christmas varies significantly in different countries and cultures around the World.

You are being asked to research the Christmas traditions of another country and/or culture and to present your findings in a slideshow.

Include information about your country such as...

Location.

Climate.

Population Statistics.

Then think of some of the things that make Christmas special to you.

Think of....

Similarities and Differences

Consider...

Food (main dish).

Music.

Food (Christmas treats)

Special characters associated with your selected culture.

Special Drinks

Decorations

Food (desserts) – Is anyone else getting hungry?

Things that are special to your selected culture.

And anything else you might come across.

This is due December 17. We’ll be presenting in the week before holidays.

Don’t be late with this one!!!!!

Or you may get a lump of coal in your stocking (or at least a detention).

Don’t forget your sense of humour.

And have some fun with this. After all...

Holidays are just around the corner!!!!
