Departmental Performance Measures Department Members have been committed to reducing crime -32% overall first year, 18% decrease since 1/1/2012 Burglaries reduced 38% first year, reduced18% since then Sergeants have pitched in during lean times to manage and process evidence and have performed other collateral assignments Dispatchers have pitched in during lean times to assist residents at the counter and answered 9-1-1 calls for both Livingston and Gustine Police Department (+68%) Sergeants have developed proactive strategies and led squads to address gang problems reducing gang violence 90% since 2012 arresting many of those involved Officers have been committed to maintaining public safety while working special assignments to include 4th of July,National Night Out Sweet Potato Festival and Nagar Kirtan, and Kops for Kids Officers have supported many crime reduction strategies implemented by Lt Soria and Chiefs Office as evident by the statistics (Considering Prop 109 and AB 47) Officers Macchia and Baldevia have been committed to Explorer and Cadet Programs- have reduced thousands of hours of overtime for city-wide events Complaints of dogs running at large have reduced dramatically as evident by observations Inflation Index has averaged 2.3% each year over last 10 years Police employees have received 2% wage increase once in 10 years As the department head, I would like to recognize the great work our employees have performed over the last 3 years
