Getting started Save Y2Q4 history reports: See instructions on course BPG Simulation web page. Open the simulation for your company and save the Y2Q4 history reports to the “Reports” folder in your company folder on the J: drive. Open the current Marter version, Set up a Marter file for Y3Q1 decision Do a Save As for the quarter that is D1 (Y3Q1) into your company folder on the J: drive. Name the file explicitly including your World and Company, e.g., v5Oct06 Y3Q1 WnCm Go to Setup Worksheet to see initializing steps, which must be done each time a new plan is done, i.e., every quarter Go to D1 and confirm the data from for Y2Q4 is correctly entered D1. Develop your decisions for D1 through D4 in the Marter workbook. The situation you see in D2, D3, or D4 may lead you to redo D1. When satisfied with your decision set for D1 through D4, enter your decisions for D1 into the BPG program and save your results. Strategic Management Session 18
