TIME CLOCK USAGE - WAREHOUSE Standard Work Instruction: Time & Attendance Original Date: January 9, 2017 Version number: v1.0 Revision Date: TIME CLOCK USAGE - WAREHOUSE This document outlines the usage of the time clock and details management of paid and non-paid breaks specific to our Warehouse and Delivery personnel.. Beginning at start of scheduled shift… Locate Time Clock device within work facility Most time clocks are centrally located for ease of access by hourly employees Using assigned timecard, swipe card to “clock-in” and begin your shift If no card available, enter assigned card number If key fob used instead of card, hold fob in specified area to activate Confirm that swipe was successful Proceed immediately to assigned work area for instructions At scheduled Break times… Proceed to designated “break” area(s) Time Clock is not used to log break activity Upon completion of break, return to assigned work area At scheduled Lunch time… To begin your Lunch Break… Locate Time Clock device in assigned facility Using assigned timecard, swipe card to “clock-out” and begin your lunch break Proceed to designated “break” area(s) or off-site To conclude your Lunch break… Using assigned timecard, swipe card to “clock-in” and end your lunch break Confirm swipe was successful At conclusion of your scheduled shift… Using assigned timecard, swipe card to “clock-out” and end your shift Proceed to exit the facility
