What do king snakes look like? King snakes have smooth shiny scales. King snakes have many different colors like red, black, green, and yellow. King snakes usually come in patterns.

Were do king snakes live? King snakes live in the USA, Southern Canada, Mexico and central and south America. King snakes live in rotting logs, sticks, rocks, and old lumber piles. Sometimes they will eat a rodent that lives in a burrow and steals the burrow.

king snake children. King snakes hatch from eggs in late summer or early fall. They weigh between a half and a quarter of a pound. most don’t change color as they mature.
