Transparency Tools ‘transparency of diversity’ in higher education systems ‘strategic profiling’ for higher education institutions

Transparency Tools instruments for information provision on actual efforts or performances of higher education institutions for various stakeholders to base their decisions and judgements on relevant for Quality Assurance instruments relevant for Strategic Profiling of higher education institutions

Transparency Tools Classifications: instruments to group higher education institutions and to characterise similarities and differences based on the actual activities and conditions of higher education institutions Rankings: instruments to compare higher education institutions and to judge their relative performances based on the actual achievements and conditions of higher education institutions

European Transparency Initiatives U-Map: a multi-dimensional and user-driven European classification of higher education institutions U-Multirank: a multi-dimensional and user-driven European approach to ranking higher education institutions

U-Map designed in interaction with stakeholders empirically tested operationally available with web-based tools currently being implemented in several European higher education systems
