Bukovyna Innovative Technology Cluster named after Joseph Schumpeter 2016

Cluster BIT Chernivtsi IT Cluster was established in April 2015. IT cluster is a public organization that unites the leading companies in information technology, software development and software outsourcing business projects with the support of local authorities and universities have taken the initiative of complex changes in the IT ecosystem of the city. Partner companies and individual volunteers from IT are providing the huge help in solving this problem.

The purpose of Cluster BIT The purpose of this association is a promotion of industry to join efforts for developing of the joint projects and stabilization of the dialogue with the authorities and society. The creation of such organization would help society and government то notice the IT industry. On 11 May 2016, the city government and Chernivtsi IT Cluster signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Mission of the Cluster BIT Chernivtsi IT Cluster's mission is to increase the competitiveness and growth of exports services in IT, achieved through cooperation between companies based on the total concept.

Goals and activities of the Cluster BIT Strategic goals and activities of the cluster: Development of an innovative ecosystem of the region. Increase international prestige in the region, involving direct and indirect foreign investment. Provide the public and legal support for the development of IT-business in the region. Increase the quantity and quality of the training (cooperation with universities, adjusting the training programs, the target set).

Goals and activities of the Cluster BIT Increase the volume and quality of the IT market. Consistent loading on the IT companies in the region through mutual outsourcing. Implementation of new information technologies and software in all spheres of life in the region, integration in the domestic and world information space, promotion of the region. CIOs cooperation.

Goals and activities of the Cluster BIT Development of the startup-projects (incubator of innovative projects in the field of IT). Promote IT sphere. Promote events and activities related to IT sphere. Representing the interests of the community in a dialogue with the authorities.

Values of the Cluster BIT Cooperation – organize networking events for companies related to IT industry, support exchange of knowledge, identify common IT skills needs for Education institution. Quality and reliability - introduce new quality excellence methodologies that ensure to meeting the highest industry standards. Competence - detailed industry knowledge, constant learning and training. Innovation - the ability to create new solutions and attract investment in the IT sector,
