Forces in Motion Science Review Game

*HINT* Thursday, we will have a science test on forces in motion. Be sure to pay close attention to each question in this game. All of these ideas may be found on your quiz. 

RULES The three coloured pieces must be placed an equal distance from each partner. Once the question has been read, the screen will show three coloured choices. Choose the colour that matches your answer for the question. The first person to grab the correct colour gets a point. If someone grabs it first, you are not allowed to pry it from their hand or neither person can earn a point.

What is the force caused by two objects rubbing together? a) Muscular b) Friction c) Buoyancy

Which of these is true about gravity? a) Gravity pushes you to the earth. b) Gravity makes boats float. c) Gravity pulls you towards the earth.

Which of these are all possible effects of forces? a) Move an object, stop an object, change its direction b) Change the speed, Change the shape, make people fly c) Stop an object, change its speed, make it invisible

Which of these are all Forces with non-direct contact? a) Friction, Magnetic, Electro-Static b) Friction, Buoyancy, Muscular c) Gravity, Magnetic, Electro-Static

Which of these is a time we want more friction? a) Skiing down a hill b) Driving on ice c) Skateboarding

Which of these is not true about magnets? a) Magnets can attract or repel. b) Opposite poles attract. c) Similar poles attract.

What force is at work here? a) Buoyancy b) Muscular Force c) Gravity

Which force is represented in this image? a) Gravity b) Muscular c) Friction

If a ball is rolling down a hall and you apply a force, what three things can that force change? a) The ball can change direction, bounce, stop b) The ball can stop, bounce, speed up c) The ball can stop, change direction or speed up

Which force is represented by this picture? a) Buoyancy b) Air Resistance c) Friction

Which objects are designed to cause less air resistance? Airplanes, Cars, Helmets b) Cars, Snowflakes, Feathers c) Airplanes, Snowshoes, Cars

Good luck on your Test and keep studying!!!!!
