Creative and Expressive Arts Dangerous Animals Year 1 Spring 2 Successful Learners Areas Of Learning As Readers and Writers we will be writing information texts, poems about nature and stories with repeating patterns. As Mathematicians we will focus on multiplication, and division. As Scientists we will be exploring the local environment and compare the structure of a variety of common animals. As Musicians we will be using music to create animal themed compositions. As Spiritual and Reflective individuals we will learn about the Easter story. In our Jigsaw Lesson we will learn about being healthy. As Programmers we will explore algorithms and bugs. As Active Learners we will be participating in invasion games. As Artists we will be using animal prints and patterns. Confident individuals Responsible Citizens Creative and Expressive Arts We will be using influences from the animal kingdom to create our artwork. Spirituality As spiritual people we will: think about the Easter Story and reflect on symbols associated with Easter. Communities Knowledge of the World We will be exploring different habitats around the world.
